UK Skills champions skills and learning for work through competitions, awards and events. Established in 1990, we are an independent not-for-profit organisation committed to helping to create a society where all skills and learning for work are highly valued.
We manage the UK team that competes in the WorldSkills Competition, and in recent years we have widened the scope of our operations to include management of the National Training Awards and the organisation of many skills-related events. UK Skills played an integral part in the UK´s successful bid to host the 2011 WorldSkills Competition in London.
